Who is House of E?
2019, we took a leap of faith and started our hair company Braids Galore Ltd which specialised in Braids, Passion Twists, Faux Locs. Apprehensive at the time, we knew this was a step in the right direction. Through this journey, we grasped how to work smarter, focused on developing our skills and extending grace to ourselves when mistakes we made. 2020, we all experienced the pandemic of Covid-19. This forced all of us to stop and assess what was truly important. We used this opportunity to ponder and ask ourselves what we truly desired. The vision was to build a brand that celebrates women, enhances their confidence beauty and in business.
Now fast forward, the business has a new name and ethos. The question we now get often is 'why did you change the name?'. The former name no longer served the future of the business. The name 'House of E', embodies a house with many rooms, different niches in the hair and beauty industry. Creating a community of individuals who seek to represent and establish their footprint in the world. Through the peaks and valleys of this journey, It has remained my focal point to build legacy.
